Front De Cadeaux drop off new pieces of the SUPREME RALLENTATO edits.
SUPREME RALLENTATO is based on the wrong speed technique (playing 45rpm vinyl record at 33rpm +/-8), so that you can enter frequencies, bass and rhythm just like you are watching a picture on the microscope or walking through a slow motion reality. It's immersive, it's hot, it's sexy. Psychedelic leftfield, mushroom rapsody, spaceless primitivism, gipsy ritual. A bunch of tracks from 87 to 95 bpm, totally extended in their lenght.

We want to share the personal diary we received from Leopoldo Villegas who created the artwork for the compilation:

Amicas,
I read your email many times and would play the songs trying to imagine the things that you described. I did a lot of thinking. I thought of the idea of being in a different environment, like you traveling to that music festival, where maybe they're not used to people like you. I thought about how us humans will see something as foreign or alien because we don't understand it or see it as different. How maybe it's because we don't take time to understand. I thought about how we create idols.
I thought a lot about isolation, how growing up in such an environment frames your views of the world. I also thought about the weather and how it affects us and how that can be expressed through music.
I went through my books and magazines as usual to create the images. I tried selecting books that related to the ideas I had in my head after reading your email. The new songs were playing over and over as I looked through the pages. Nothing was planned, all the images happened spontaneously.
